Color Run Fun

This weekend, I took my first getaway without the husband for an over-night trip to Nashville, TN. I went with two super sweet ladies from work to take on the Color Run 2013. Joshua (the husband) and I ran the Color Run 2012 in September and had a blast, so this time around it was a girls’ trip! We had a great time. It was a rainy day, but thankfully the rain stopped while we endured the run and color fun.
Here we are before the race, all clean and white.

After we were scrubbed down and cleaned up post race, we spend the whole day shopping, for a total of over 12 hours on our feet. Although today my body isn’t loving me, I had the best time with my girls and cannot wait to do it again! Such a great way to spend my weekend.

I’m curious, do you have any favorite 5K runs? (Warrior Dash, Glow Run, Color Run, etc.)

Tomorrow, I’ll be updating on our Easter Sunday. Hope you all had a great a wonderful Easter celebrating Christ our Risen Lord!

  1. That sounds like so much fun. I want to do that one day. I'm only three weeks into the Couch to 5K program so I have a while to go yet.

I'm glad you stopped by and also liked my playlist. I use to do that every week and forgot to one week and then the next. Just getting back into it again.

    1. Awesome! I will add you on MFP! You should definitely sign up for the Color Run anyways. I'm only on Week 4 now but doing intervals I could run most of it. The good thing about the Color Run is that everyone is welcome: walkers, runners, even families with toddlers and strollers. It's a great experience for runners and walkers of all abilities!
